Twe2: Search Usage

After seeing Twitter-howto’s excellent article (http://eweri.com/4BC – Thanks Ade, we really appreciate it) on how to use Twe2 in innovative ways, we thought it would be great to let you know some of the excellent features that we support.
Twe2 allows you to get Direct Messages to your mobile phone via SMS, but also we allow you to get public @replies sent to you. Not only that, but we support twitter’s advanced search syntax. See below (taken directly from http://search.twitter.com/operators).
| “happy hour“ | containing the exact phrase “happy hour”. |
| love OR hate | containing either “love” or “hate” (or both). |
| beer -root | containing “beer” but not “root”. |
| #haiku | containing the hashtag “haiku”. |
| from:alexiskold | sent from person “alexiskold”. |
| to:techcrunch | sent to person “techcrunch”. |
| @mashable | referencing person “mashable”. |
| “happy hour” near:“san francisco” | containing the exact phrase “happy hour” and sent near “san francisco”. |
| near:NYC within:15mi | sent within 15 miles of “NYC”. |
| superhero since:2009-02-15 | containing “superhero” and sent since date “2009-02-15″ (year-month-day). |
| ftw until:2009-02-15 | containing “ftw” and sent up to date “2009-02-15″. |
| movie -scary :) | containing “movie”, but not “scary”, and with a positive attitude. |
| flight :( | containing “flight” and with a negative attitude. |
| traffic ? | containing “traffic” and asking a question. |
| hilarious filter:links | containing “hilarious” and linking to URLs. |
I have my filters set up so that I can follow all Twe2 tweets (enable us to provide support and see what problems might be having – when we are awake at least). I also track messages from from my good friends @jonpauldavies and @prawlings using the search terms from:prawlings and from:jonpauldavies

Twe2: Ricevere i messaggi di Twitter via SMS sul cellulare gratis…
Di base si possono ricevere i messaggi diretti e di risposta ma ci sono tutta una serie di opzioni di configurazione per poter ricevere messaggi con certe keyword, con luso di particolari ricerche avanzate…
