We love the fantasitic array of applications that the Twitterverse has spun up, the amount and range of web apps that are out there really shows off the power and creativity of Twitter developers worldwide. But there is one thing we absolutely hate: giving our password out. Unforunately, most applications need your password, leading to a dilemma for the user: give your pasword our or don’t have access to all the great applications.
The good news is that behind the scenes, Twitter is working hard to change this and are implementing something called oAuth, which is a brand new way for Twitter users to consume applications without having to give out their precious password.
The even better news is that Twitter have selected Twe2 to be one of only 150 Twitter applications in the world to beta test this smoking hot new technology! Stay tuned for more news on how we plan to use oAuth and make the Twe2 experience better than ever!
